Terms of Use

These conditions govern access to and use of this website. Visiting a page, reading its material, or submitting a search means that you agree to them. If you do not agree, discontinue use of the site.

NO FCRA USE. This privately operated website has no affiliation with a local, state, or federal government body. Neither the site nor its advertising partners provides a service designed for credit, employment, insurance, tenant, or other decisions regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Its purpose is to identify public criminal-record resources in Comanche County and Texas. It is neither a private investigation firm nor a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This private reference site operates independently of government. It does not store official criminal records, obtain records for a visitor, perform official checks, or submit documents on anyone's behalf.

The content identifies custodians such as the Comanche County Sheriff, county and district courts, Texas DPS Crime Records Division, and Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. It may also connect readers to third-party research tools. Texas Government Code Chapter 552 governs public-information requests to government bodies, and Government Code Chapter 411 controls criminal-history dissemination. Neither statute makes this site an official custodian.

2. Rules for Using This Site

As a condition of access, you will not:

  • Use the site in violation of federal, Texas, or local law
  • Stalk, threaten, or harass another person with information found here
  • Use site content for lending, insurance, employment, or housing decisions
  • Attempt unauthorized access to any system or account
  • Deploy scraping, bot, or other automated access tools
  • Interfere with site performance or another visitor's access

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information obtained here or through a linked tool may not be used to stalk, intimidate, threaten, harass, or discriminate. Misuse may also violate law. Texas Public Sex Offender Registry data exists for public-safety awareness under Code of Criminal Procedure Chapter 62. It does not authorize vigilantism, employment blacklisting, housing discrimination, or retaliation against a listed person.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and produce no credit report, background check, or consumer report. Our advertising partners likewise do not provide a tool intended to screen applicants, evaluate rental applications, price insurance, or measure creditworthiness. You may not use site or linked-tool data to:

  • Assess eligibility for a license, permit, or public program
  • Make hiring, retention, or termination decisions
  • Evaluate a renter or housing applicant
  • Set insurance terms or assess creditworthiness
  • Carry out any other FCRA-regulated purpose

A check for a regulated purpose must come from Texas DPS or a provider that complies with the FCRA and all other applicable law.

5. No Legal Advice

Site content is general information, not legal advice. Only a licensed Texas attorney can assess how a warrant, charge, conviction, expunction rule, or nondisclosure rule applies to a specific set of facts.

6. No Warranties

All material and services are offered "as is." We make no promise that:

  • Partner-search results will be complete, current, or correctly matched
  • Every fact remains accurate and complete at all times
  • Access will remain continuous and uninterrupted
  • Pages will contain no error, bug, or security weakness

Criminal records change when charges are filed, resolved, restricted, or expunged. Updates can lag. Nothing published here is an official statement from a clerk, court, sheriff, Texas DPS, or other agency.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links lead to court portals, sheriff and state-agency pages, legal resources, and outside search services. Those destinations are outside our control. We are not responsible for their availability, content, fees, results, or data practices. Review the destination's terms before using it.

8. Intellectual Property

Comanche County Criminal History or its content partners own the site's text, logos, graphics, and code. You may not copy, alter, distribute, or create a derivative of that material without prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage arising from site use, including reliance on information found here or through a linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, demands, or proceedings caused by your use of the site or violation of these terms, including related costs and legal fees.

11. Governing Law

Texas law governs these terms. Any dispute tied to use of this site must be brought in a court located in Texas.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms. A revision takes effect when the updated text is posted on this page.

13. Cutting Off Access

We may suspend, limit, or end access at any time and without advance notice.

14. Severability

If a court finds one term invalid or unenforceable, the other terms remain effective. The affected provision will be adjusted only to the extent needed for enforcement.

15. Questions

Questions about these conditions may be submitted through the Contact page.
