Need an Official Record?
Direct each Comanche County request to the office that created or maintains the record:
- Court case files: use the Comanche County court case lookup, then contact the County Clerk or District Clerk
- Criminal history and personal record review: contact the Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Records Division
- Arrest, booking, and jail records: contact the Comanche County Sheriff or County Jail
- Official statewide checks: order through Texas DPS and use FAST/IdentoGO for fingerprint capture when required
- Police reports and incident records: contact the agency that wrote the report
- Expunction or nondisclosure: confirm filing procedure with the clerk for the court that handled the case

Felony files are held by the District Clerk, 215 N. Houston Street, Comanche, TX 76442; 325-356-2342. Published hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. closure. The County Clerk holds Class A and B misdemeanor files at 204 E. Oak Avenue, Comanche, TX 76442; 325-356-2655. Call before traveling because courthouse restoration has shifted county functions.
